BEST DIGEST : SOFTENING THE EDGE OF DIGESTIVE DISTRESS

At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic I noticed an upsurge of digestive bitters purchased in my online store. Upon reflection I recognized my own digestive imbalances and how crummy I was feeling physically - and how much of it was tied to my digestion. Not only was I having irregular cramping in the gut - I was feeling nauseous and uneasy which was a direct reflection of my emotional state. 

In this two hour class we will cover the basics of herbs that support the digestive system! Coincidentally enough many of these herbs also help with stress & anxiety relief - so we will talk a bit about how the emotional effects manifest physically. Other topics include the relationship between our digestive tract, skin, and hormones!

You will learn how to support the digestive process with herbs that support the liver, stimulate digestive function, promote a healthy gut biome with herbal prebiotics, & herbs that help with gas&bloating (and more!)

Herbs in action: I will demo how to make easy digestive bitters using easy to find herbs in the folk method ~ and tips on how to balance flavors ( you want it bitter of course!) . I will also offer some ways to cook with bitter herbs & how to add & apply in daily kitchen life!
