BEST DIGEST : SOFTENING THE EDGE OF DIGESTIVE STRESS

At the beginning of shelter at home in california i noticed an upsurge of digestive bitters purchased in my online store. Upon reflection I recognized my own digestive imbalances and how crummy I was feeling physically - and how much of it was tied to my digestion. Not only was I having irregular cramping in the gut - I was feeling nauseous and uneasy which was a direct reflection of my emotional state. 

In this hour and a half class we will cover the basics of herbs that help the digestive system & liver. Coincidentally enough many of these herbs also help with stress & anxiety relief - so we will talk a bit about how the emotional effects manifest physically. 

Herbs in action: I will demo how to make easy digestive bitters using easy to find herbs in the folk method ~ and tips on how to balance flavors ( you want it bitter of course) . I will also offer some ways to cook with bitter herbs & how to add & apply in daily kitchen life!
