EFFERVESCE: herbal mead making workshop

Let’s explore all things honey power’d and intoxicating! In this fermentation-focused class we will explore honey bee lore and ancient extracts and preservation using the magical, sweet, medicinal substance called HONEY!
This is a hands on workshop where we will learn how the basics of wild fermenting medicinal meads. We will learn how to start an herbal mead and witness a few steps of the fermentation process. We will sip from a mead or two and get sticky sweet and high on the buzz of honeycomb. We will also explore the medicinal properties and uses of honey, wax and propolis! We’ll end class with some Kitchen Sink & Snakeroot Snacks & a mead tasting hang!
there will be no beehives at this workshop / but we will probably attract some bees to the table
